The title references a landmark Johns Hopkins study finding that a survivor of non-fatal strangulation is over six times more likely to become a homicide victim—demonstrating that warning signs for these events both exist and can be traced. Through a wearable sculpture of six spikes, a text-based textile, and a video loop, the installation gives physical form to the largely ignored metrics.
